Just as a follow up, discord seems to be fairly 2a friendly, obviously there are some TOS concerns but most individuals post a rules section to be abided by. You can make different “rooms” for different topics so you don’t get overwhelmed in one particular area with a bunch of off topic opinions or questions. You can give certain individuals access as moderators so they can fill in if things get out of hand. I’m no expert but I’m sure there are a few people around here that know it like the back of their hand.

Gary, Do you know a fellow by the name of Tommy Everhart who lives in Inwood, WV. A power lifter and supposedly a SF man from the Olie North days who builds rifles.
Hey Gary! Have you experienced EXTREMELY stiff springs in both the racking mechanism AND the magazines of S&W pistols?? I have an M&P9 that I can NOT get all the bullets possible into the mag, nor can I chamber a round pushing the button on the side of the firearm to close the breach and load. The spring is SO TIGHT that I must use 2 hands to get that job done. One pushing on the release button while my off hand pushes the belreach back to relieve tension to close. This is ridiculous. Forget about reloading in a stressful situation. Have you heard of this?? Sounds like a trip to a gunsmith is in order. It’s a California gun too, so are there manufacturer specs that make this kind of stuff a reality??
As for the magazine, you may have a reduced round mag... likely a 10rd mag? I'd have to look at it to be sure. This sounds like a quick facetime chat for me to diagnose. You got a tripod to throw your phone and on show me what's going on? Please have clothes on.
