YouTube Changes but We Aren't Going Anywhere!
YouTube is starting to play their usual games with our channel that they have played with the 2A community, but we will be ready.
In December we were averaging around 75K views a month but thanks to you, we are hitting 121K now! Thank you.
YouTube just recently pulled one of our videos and gave us a warning. Anything after that warning will be a Strike which results in a 7 days of not being able to post to YouTube. 3 Strikes in 90 days results in YouTube removing our channel permanently.
Talking to other people in the YouTube gun world, that’s how it starts. They pull one video then go through and hit you with multiple Strikes then cancel your channel. Hopefully that’s not the case and it’s a one off incident. Their rules are extremely subjective and difficult to follow.
Apparently “modifying a firearm” includes adding a pad to your cheek rest. So, going forward I’m going to be extra cautious and any portions of our content that could be possibly seen as a rule violation will be posted on our Patreon site. So your support there is appreciated and you’ll receive full uncut videos even at the lowest support tier.
We’re also slowly uploading all of our content on Rumble as well so go follow us there.
Another option we're exploring and pricing out right now is uploading directly to our website. So contingency planning is in full effect. YouTube is also demonetizing every one of our videos which means they don’t push it in the algorithm. In spite of that, our views are going way up through organic reach alone.
Which is also because of YOU so thank you.
Not bitching, it is what it is and this is the operating environment, but I’m telling you all this so you know why the changes are happening and so you know what’s up if suddenly we’re off of Youtube.
Thanks for everything! -Gary, Summer, and the entire Paramount Team
